Our mission

To bring your imagination to life, one layer at a time.

Where innovation and curiosity meet education.

Who we help

For students the pace of school has left behind

Big classes move on whether a student is ready or not. We slow down, fill the gaps and teach the way each student actually learns.

Struggling with grades

For students who are failing or just scraping a pass, have lost confidence, or are worried about moving down a subject level.

  • Rebuild missing foundations from earlier years
  • Small, frequent wins to rebuild confidence
  • Honest progress updates for parents every [month]

Learning differences

For students with dyslexia, dyscalculia or autism. Every student is different, so we take each one case by case — we’ll talk with you first to make sure we’re the right fit.

  • A learning plan agreed with parents from day one
  • Lessons in short chunks, with breaks when needed
  • Visual and hands-on explanations, not just text
  • Practice using any exam access arrangements they have
Our experience with learning needs Our tutor Adrienne Lim is a member of RETA, the Register of Educational Therapists (Asia), and a parent of two children with learning differences — so she understands the challenges from both sides of the table.

Our promise to parents

Partners with you, not just tutors for your child

Parents of children who learn differently tell us the same things matter most. These are our commitments to you.

01

We get to know your child

Before lessons start, we ask about your child’s strengths, challenges and any assessment reports. You know them best.

02

We talk to you directly

Updates come straight to you by [WhatsApp], not passed along through your child. Concerns are raised early, never at the last minute.

03

Homework that’s doable

Short, focused practice matched to your child’s level, with notes so you know how to help at home.

04

Every child gets to succeed

We find what each student is good at, praise effort generously, and never criticise anyone in front of others.

05

More than the textbook

School teaches the syllabus. We also teach how to think: breaking a problem down, asking good questions, and learning from mistakes.

06

Skills industry is looking for

In our maker workshops, students design, code, use real tools and see a project through from idea to finished product — skills employers value.

About us

Strong grades come from strong foundations.

We don’t rush to exam tricks. Each topic is taught in layers, so students know why a method works before they drill it — and can still use it when a question looks unfamiliar.

01

Start where they are

A relaxed first-lesson check shows which earlier topics need rebuilding. No pressure, no judgement.

02

Concept before formula

Clear explanations, worked examples and one-page cheatsheets for every topic.

03

Practice that sticks

Topical worksheets, then timed papers, with marked feedback every week.

Meet Adrienne Lim

Tutor · Member of RETA

Adrienne is a passionate teacher whose goal goes beyond exam results: she wants every student to leave with the skills they need to get through life. She knows first-hand how hard school can be for children who learn differently — she is a mother of two, one with dyslexia and the other with both dyslexia and autism. That experience shapes how she teaches: with patience, structure and a real understanding of what families go through.

Beyond the syllabus

Make things. Break things. Learn how they work.

Hands-on workshops where the maths and physics from class turn into real objects, circuits, candles and cups of coffee. Open to all ages — and many students who find the classroom hard come alive when they can build with their hands.
